Watchung Borough Hall Renovations
A.I. Rifaat was the architect and construction manager on this $400,000 design/build project to renovate 2500 SF of a Municipal Office building. Rifaat had sole responsibility for the design and construction of the project including preparing the winning bid proposal as selected by the municipality. The work consisted of demolition of existing interior spaces and construction of new office, kitchen, storage, restroom and handicap accessible facilities. A notable project feature was a new underfloor hydronic radiant heating system.
